Toxicology

Toxicology research in ADVS focuses on environment and health. Researchers in our group are interested in understanding impacts of exposure to chemicals in the air we breathe or food we eat and risk of adverse health effects in animals and humans, with a focus on agents that alter risk of diseases, such as cancer. Our scientists specialize in veterinary toxicology and in using animal models to better understand how exposure to toxins may impact human health.
