Biography
Fernanda Batistel is an Assistant Professor in the Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences Department at Utah State University. In 2011, She earned her B.S. in Animal Science from Santa Catarina State University, Brazil. She then moved to the University of Sao Paulo completed her master's program in Animal Science in 2014. Fernanda completed her Ph.D. program evaluating the effect of methyl donors on placenta metabolism, immunometabolism, and the performance of transition cows at the University of Illinois in 2018. Dr. Fernanda Batistel joined USU faculty in 2018 where she runs her teaching and research program focused on animal nutrition.
