GRADUATE PROGRAM ASSESSMENT

Mission Statement

Our mission is to support the Land Grant University mandate in providing teaching, research, extension, and professional service to support the animal industries of Utah, the surrounding region, and the International community.  Primary responsibility for graduate program assessment is delegated to the Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences (ADVS) Departmental Graduate Programs Committee (GPC).  The GPC consists of five faculty that are appointed by the Department Head.  The GPC faculty have significant research assignments and actively mentor graduate students. Membership is drawn from across the graduate majors and specializations in ADVS.
